Amagi Case Study

Read about Amagi‘s collaboration with Norstat in obtaining comprehensive and representative data from households in Italy.

The Issue

When we approached Norstat, our goal was to find a trustworthy partner for a long-run project based on a large household panel. Our inquiry should have been repeated year after year using granular data.

The challenge was to obtain detailed and representative data from a large sample of households at an affordable price. Given that our research on shopping behavior and store loyalty was completely new from a methodological viewpoint, we needed an active collaboration with Norstat’s client service. All that meant accuracy in data collection and flexibility in combining accuracy and feasibility.

Our Delivery

Norstat client service has been very proactive and patient in coping with rework and adaptations that occur in a start-up.

We very carefully analyzed raw data to verify the coherence of the answers. Our data refer to specific local geographical circumstances, representing a critical feature that qualifies our job contrary to much other research.

The Result

The revenue of our research grew during the last four years, so we enlarged our sample to the maximum feasible size in Italy.
