Norstat appoints Andrew O’Connell as Managing Director for Norstat UK & Ireland

Andrew brings over 20 years of experience in market research, having held key leadership positions at Research Now, SSI, and, most recently, Dynata, where he served as Managing Director of UK operations since 2019. He has successfully developed both existing and new business across various sectors, including Research, Media, Healthcare, Corporates, and Consultancies, in the UK and Ireland, all while effectively managing sales and operations during transitional periods. His client-focused approach ideally positions him to lead Norstat’s UK operation into its next growth phase.

This latest development in the UK follows the acquisition of Panelbase in July 2023, a strategic investment by Norstat to strengthen its presence in the UK and Irish markets. With offices in London and Newcastle, Panelbase represented one of Norstat’s most significant investments to date. The integration was concluded in January 2024, marking a major milestone in the company’s ongoing European expansion.

The appointment of Andrew as Managing Director underscores Norstat’s commitment to building momentum in the UK and Irish markets, ensuring continued growth and innovation in line with the company’s strategic vision.
