Norstat is delighted to present the latest edition of Norstat Quarterly Data Q3 2025, the initiative providing up-to-date, quality data on consumers’ views from 16 European countries. Seamlessly compare trendlines across different countries for a comprehensive view of evolving market dynamics.

Nikolaj Voulfsbach, who leads the Norstat Quarterly Data initiative, highlights a few trends in this Q3 2025 report:

  • Overall, the majority of Europeans have a positive, or somewhat positive, view of the future. 
    • The Danes (85%) and Norwegians (80%) are the most optimistic, whereas the French (43%) and Italians (57%) are less positive.
  • Inflation remains one of the biggest societal concerns across Europe.
    • In Q3 2025, inflation ranks among the top three concerns in all countries except Italy, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Latvia.
  • Misinformation and disinformation are gaining prominence and now rank among the top ten societal concerns in 15 out of 16 countries.
    • In Q1 2025, misinformation and disinformation were among the top ten societal concerns in only 11 countries.
  • Immigration is also becoming a more prominent concern, now ranking in the top ten in 14 out of 16 countries.
    • Compared to Q1 2025, immigration has entered the top ten in Italy, Lithuania, Finland, and Denmark and is currently within the top three in the UK, Finland, the Netherlands, Austria and France.
