The acquisition of Panelbase ranks as one of Norstat’s most significant to date and represents a key milestone in the company’s European expansion strategy. 

This, Norstat’s seventh acquisition in two years, demonstrates the efficiency and success of the M&A platform. It further reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its market presence and enhancing service offerings in the European data collection market.

Since the acquisition was completed six months ago, there has been intensive work within the various integration workstreams and teams such as Panel Migration, People & Organisation and Commercial. Norstat has significantly strengthened its UK consumer panel, offering enhanced sample feasibility for both B2C and B2B, and now boasts a proprietary panel of 3 million respondents across 19 countries in Europe. UK clients now have access to market-leading data collection services, across sample-only, full service and digital products & solutions. The latter including Norstat Express and Norstat Dashboards.

A well-defined and rigorous integration process has resulted in a swift and effective integration, successfully combining different teams and technologies to generate synergies and efficiencies. It has created a robust foundation for further growth in the largest market for consumer research in Europe, fostering new opportunities and enriching the data collection experience for clients. This collaborative effort, involving valuable input from both employees and clients, culminates in the rebranding of Panelbase to Norstat on January 8th.
