Norstat invests in qualitative research in Germany with senior hires and capabilities to manage the local market

News

Norstat, one of the leading data collectors for market research in Europe, expands the offering portfolio in Germany by investing in a strong qualitative research team that will cater to the local market and clients. This investment follows Norstat’s strategy of building on its strong market position as a trusted provider of high-quality data collection services and adds to the Group’s previous investments within qualitative research, including the acquisitions of TestingTime, Respondenten and CG Research during 2021.

As of March 1st, Norstat Germany has appointed Ivana Slukan as Head of Qualitative. Ivana joins from Schlesinger Group, where she held various positions within qualitative research. In her most recent position, she managed the operations team of Schlesinger, delivering qualitative services to both private and public sectors across 5 markets. Ivana’s strong industry background and experience will bring a tremendous strength to scale and capture further opportunities for growth in the German market, and not the least for Norstat’s clients in Germany. In her role as Head of Qualitative she will manage local operations and lead the qualitative research method for Norstat Germany.

Quote from Sebastian Sorger, Managing Director of Norstat Germany:

Germany is the 7th largest research market worldwide, and the qualitative research segment is about 175MEUR according to ESOMAR. We see an increased demand from our clients that need a provider that can offer data collection services based on qualitative research. I’m delighted that we are expanding our local offering to meet that demand and excel in client expectations. Having Ivana driving this strategic initiative forward will strengthen our ability to scale and deliver in our local market.

Quote from Ivana Slukan, Head of Qualitative of Norstat Germany:

I am truly excited about joining Norstat, and I look forward to getting to know Norstat and its employees and clients during the coming months. Combining Norstat Germanys’ quantitative data-collection offering and strong local presence with qualitative capabilities will be hugely beneficial for existing and new clients, and I look forward being part of that journey forward.
